About

Hello There! Thanks for stopping by!

If you don’t know me, my name is Gabriella Slade, and  I am a YA Supernatural Fantasy Author and blogger. I’ve grown up as the eldest of seven sibilings, two of them being adopted from West Africa in 2014.  I have a passion for Jesus, as well as for books, inparticular, YA stories set in a world created from the author’s imagination.

This is my official website and blog, where you can find updates on me, as well as my books. This blog won the Liebester Award in 2017.

My debut novel, Show Me: Book 1 of The Dragon Artifacts’ Series, is set to release hopefully sometime in 2018. I blog every Monday, on my life as an author, resources I reccomend, and sneak peaks of my upcoming books. Please subscribe to my website to recieve monthly newseltters as well as all my latest posts straight into your inbox.

My Biography

I’ve been a writer all my life. Starting at around 6 years old, I wrote my first book–A picture book about a girl who was chosen as Princess, found her handsome prince and lived happily ever after.I continued to write books of this type for about three years.

At 10 and 11, I plotted out several contemporary series that I never got around to writing. They were all about normal everyday girls who had problems with school. I soon discovered that this was just not my thing.

I wrote my first big project in November of 2014–a 30K word novella that I slapped on Amazon a month after I finished writing it, without editing it or having it proofed for grammar and spelling.  Though the book is still for sale today, I don’t attempt to sell it to the public, as it is a terrible representation of me and my work.

In 2015, I was inspired for my current novel, which I have spent the last 3 years writing and editing.
